More About Alicia Farrington

Clinical Interests:

My professional journey has guided me to specialize in assisting individuals experiencing family conflicts, trauma, depression, and anxiety. I have provided service to victim survivors of domestic violence and working with parents and children in child welfare systems. My clinical focus revolves around family systems, depression, anxiety, a cultural-relational approach, historical trauma, adverse childhood experiences (ACES), and the complexities of grief and loss.

Clinical Approach:

I combine systemic family practice, person-centered, and cultural relational approaches in my clinical practice. It is important to me to respect individuals at their current stage and support the development of healthier personal and interpersonal relationships through strength-based and solution-focused strategies.

My favorite colors are purple and rose gold. I have a passion for learning and listening to audiobooks, podcasts, music, and watching history shows. I am particularly fond of the works of authors Maya Angelou and Yung Pueblo. I am also a fan of affirmations and working on DIY home projects.
