Clinical Interests:
I have worked with a wide variety of issues/concerns that have come up in one's life. Some of the more common diagnoses I have worked with include: major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, dual diagnosis, addictions and suicidal idealizations. I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including medical units, inpatient behavioral health, and residential and outpatient addiction treatment.
Clinical Approach:
I like to utilize a range of modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and mindfulness. I hope to offer a sense of healing, understanding and support through stressful and challenging times. I strive to create a compassionate, encouraging, and non-judgmental environment so each individual feels comfortable opening themselves up to the therapeutic process.
Hobbies:
In my free time I love spending time with my family, friends and pets. I love watching home improvement shows, baking and shopping.
