Clinical Interests:

Amanda earned her Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Missouri. Amanda has 18 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Amanda has extensive experience working with children with a variety of mental health diagnoses and success providing services to help increase positive functioning of the child and family. She has a special interest in working with clients with a history of trauma, anxiety, depression, or having struggles in the areas of adjusting to life changes, attachments, and relationships. Amanda’s favorite part of working with clients is to develop a positive working relationship as the foundation for reaching their identified goals.

Amanda will be seeing clients in the Ankeny office.

Hobbies:

In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her children, family, and catching up with friends. She enjoys reading, scrapbooking, watching her kids’ activities, and family game and movie nights. Amanda is a winter-lover at heart. There is nothing like a good snow to make her happy!
