More About Amy Gerlach

Clinical Interests:

I work with adults of all ages. My areas of focus include anxiety and depression, processing through life transitions, perfectionism and individuals living with chronic conditions. I also have a background in nutrition and work with individuals to explore their relationship with food and understand the connection between food and mood.

Clinical Approach:

I value taking a mindful, client-centered approach with my clients and empowering them to make changes in their life. I draw from a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities, including mindfulness, dialectical-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing and a bio-psycho-social framework, to provide personalized care for each client.

Hobbies:

In my free time, I enjoy practicing yoga, biking, stand up paddleboarding and spending time with my family and friends.
