Clinical Interests:
Andrea is practiced in supporting clients in reducing and managing the symptoms of ADHD, anxiety and depression, high functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder (Asperger’s), brain injury, complex trauma and its associated physical and mental health diagnoses, obsessive compulsive disorder and mood disorders. Andrea strives to build a positive, welcoming and empathetic relationship with all her clients as the necessary foundation for supporting clients in their efforts to identify and resolve struggles of their own and/or with others in their lives. Andrea looks forward to working with each and every client she has the pleasure to meet and support.
Clinical Approach:
Andrea has experience working with clients ages 10 through elderly using a cognitive behavioral approach. Andrea also enjoys working with couples using an emotion focused approach to resolving conflict and building effective communication. Andrea thoroughly enjoys working with individuals, adolescents, young adults and their family members to reduce conflict, build communication skills and foster positive relationships and independence.
Hobbies:
Andrea lives with her husband and three Standard Poodles. Andrea and her husband enjoy riding their two horses together.
