Clinical Interests:

I work with adults and specialize in the areas of depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and phase of life concerns. I have a particular interest in relationships and teaching effective communication skills.

Clinical Approach:

I really enjoy knowing all the big and little details about each person because each piece is significant. I incorporate both CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy) and narrative therapy in sessions. I also enjoy the process of engaging with each person as they write the new narrative for the person they truly are and the life they want to live.

Hobbies:

I am married with a son and daughter. In my free time, I enjoy digging in the dirt and attempting to help some lovely flowers grow. Trips to Northern Minnesota and Northern Wisconsin are my idea of the perfect getaway. I am absolutely a "dog person" but am quite fond of all creatures.
