More About Angie Krats

Clinical Interests:

I entered the mental health field because I am so in awe of the human capacity for change and resiliency amongst incredibly difficult circumstances. It would be my honor to come along aside you to assist you in navigating life concerns or reduce the impact of mental illness on your life.

I have previous experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness in community-based settings through the Adult Mental Health Rehabilitation Services (ARMHS) program and as a case manager. I currently serve adults (18 years and older) in an outpatient clinical therapy role to address various concerns such as life transitions, stress, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and relationship issues. Some of my clinical interests include attachment theory, trauma-focused therapies, and mindfulness and meditation.

Clinical Approach:

My clinical approach to therapy is collaborative and relational where we work together to tailor the therapy experience to meet your needs. I use a variety of therapeutic modalities and approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Strengths-Based, Person-Centered, and Mindfulness-Based interventions.

Hobbies:

My hobbies and interests include board games, video games, jigsaw puzzles, knitting, hiking, kayaking, attending music concerts, thrift shopping, relaxing with my cat Ruby and dog Bowser, and spending time with my family and friends.
