More About Anna Weber
Clinical Interests:
In therapy, I particularly enjoy working with adults who have mood disturbances, relational issues, identity concerns, and trauma histories, among a variety of other presenting concerns. With regard to psychological evaluations, I am passionate about personality assessment and enjoy working with all ages to help accurately provide diagnoses and clinical recommendations for treatment.
Clinical Approach:
My approach to psychotherapy is primarily psychodynamic and relational. In other words, I believe that early relationships, previous experiences, and unconscious drives/conflicts are at the heart of mental health challenges. My goal in therapy is to support my clients in developing insight into the less-known factors influencing their symptoms through emotional expression in the safe space of the therapy room and the therapeutic relationship.
Hobbies:
In my downtime (although I still do not have much as a doctoral student), I like to spend time with my 2 dogs and I enjoy being artistic in my planner. I also love to watch movies and shows, particularly futuristic and psychological thrillers.
