More About Ashly Twisk

Clinical Interests:

I am interested in working with individuals 18+ experiencing a variety of mental health disorders including and not limited to depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, personality disorders, self-harming and stress management. I have a passion for working with and maintaining a safe sensory space for individuals who are neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+.

Clinical Approach:

I utilize person center approach – meeting the client where they are at in their process, I also like to use solution based practices and motivational interviewing. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I am here to support clients nonjudgmentally and walking along side them on their journey of healing.

Hobbies:

I enjoy spending my time outside – whether this is going for a walk or exploring a new coffee shop. I am passionate about crocheting, gardening, reading, and pilates! I also love and appreciate spending time with my family, friends, and especially with my tweenie dachshund Leo.
