Clinical Interests:
I am passionate about providing therapy services to adolescents and adults. I work with issues related to anxiety, depression, substance use, co-occurring disorders, and relational issues.
Clinical Approach:
My approach typically involves Psychoanalytic Theory, meaning that the individuals past impacts their present, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing techniques. I believe my role as a counselor is to provide a safe, non-judgmental place for individuals to process what is going on in their lives. I use clinical theories as a basis for helping both the individual and myself understand them better, my approach is client led and client-centered.
Hobbies:
I enjoy all outdoor activities, spending time with family and friends, doing craft projects, and volunteering.
