More About Brett Sharockman
Clinical Interests:
Anxiety and depression, trauma, substance use, and men’s issues, including: unhealthy behaviors/addictions, relationships, adjustments to life stressors, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. I also integrate Christian counseling if requested by clients.
Clinical Approach:
I work exclusively with adult men, and consider it a privilege to be a part of each man’s story. My primary goal as a therapist is to develop a relationship and create an atmosphere in which you feel safe and comfortable enough to talk about anything. My role is to walk alongside you, support you, and provide you with resources during this part of your story. I generally incorporate concepts and skills relating to how you think, how you process and respond to stressors, and how you communicate in your primary relationships.
Hobbies:
Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my wife/family being outdoors and active. We enjoy hiking, pickleball, and exploring new areas. We have four adult children and five adult pets.
