More About Bridget Long
Clinical Interests:
I enjoy working with adults and teens 15 years and older going through life changes and adjustments, grief/loss, depression, anxiety, trauma, and those with personality disorders.
Clinical Approach:
I find meeting the person where they are at and focusing on their strengths as a way to build resilience can assist them with positive change that is very beneficial to treatment. I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and feel teaching mindfulness, emotion regulation skills, and interpersonal effectiveness can be very beneficial and offers a variety of skills that can be life changing. My goal in treatment is to work collaboratively and non-judgmentally with clients so that they feel comfortable to openly share and work on the difficult challenges they are facing.
Hobbies:
In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I enjoy getting together for cookouts, playing yard games, and watching sporting events. We recently got a new puppy and I enjoy spending time with her outdoors and watching her grow and learn.
