More About Candis Astolfi
Clinical Interests:
I have been working with people in the field of Social Work since 1994. My history has included working with volunteers and non-profits, child welfare, kinship and foster care, family therapy, early childhood and parenting education, crisis and emergency supports and individual and group therapy in a wide variety of capacities. In my clinical work, I enjoy working with a variety of clients, but especially young children, young adults and women’s issues. I have recently been working with clients with PTSD and Anxiety. I take great pleasure in building the capabilities of new clinicians and provide supervision and education to clinicians seeking clinical development.
Clinical Approach:
I believe that every person is unique and holds the ability to change their lives within themselves. In my clinical work, I like to build on client success and talent, and provide guidance, resources or education as it is needed. Partnership is important to me and I work to build up the strength of my clients so they can be their best self outside of our sessions. Historically I am trained in Solution Focused Techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy in addition to a multitude of other trainings.
Hobbies:
Travel, Nature, Reading, Spending time with my beautiful children, and building new relationships. I enjoy cooking, eating, exploring, trying new things, and being an adventurous individual.
