More About Christlie Rene
Clinical Interests:
I have experience working with teenagers aged 12 to 17. I am interested in working with families, teens, and couples. My background includes helping teens who struggle with emotional regulation and other mental health challenges. I have primarily supported a client who has faced issues such as self-harm, suicide attempts, aggression, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and family disconnection, among others.
Clinical Approach:
I am committed to creating a supportive atmosphere of trust and comfort for you and your family. With extensive experience in TF-DBT, CBT, and DBT, I look forward to partnering with your teen on their journey toward growth and healing. My background in education equips me with unique insights, allowing me to view challenges from various perspectives.
We each hold the pen to our own stories, and our choices are shaped by our beliefs and acceptance of ourselves. I am dedicated to being a supportive ally as you make empowering decisions that lead you toward your best self.
In our sessions, I will provide you with practical skills and techniques designed to simplify the decision-making process in daily life. My primary approach is Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), complemented by focused trauma work, ensuring we address the whole person and foster lasting transformation.
Hobbies:
I enjoy reading a good fictional book. I love to watch TVas a form of relaxation. I love to travel and see the beauty of the world.
