Clinical Approach:
I approach each person as a human being. I utilize the following modalities while working with individuals: motivational interviewing, 12 steps, cognitive behavioral therapy, rational emotive behavior therapy and dialectic behavioral therapy skills. I help support people to create an internal interest/willingness to change their lives to live a life free of substance use and other behaviors that impact the quality of life.
Hobbies:
I have a wife and two boys. My children continue to teach me to slow down each day and remember how awesome our world is. My kids also allow me to use my imagination and I cannot thank them enough. I like starting (and finishing) projects as a DIYer. When time is available I like to be outside landscaping, fishing, spending time at my parents' lake home, boating or swimming. I also have a passion for grilling on a flat top grill making meals for my family and friends.
