Clinical Interests:
Mr. Rankin (Chuck) began his professional practice in Tucson, Arizona honing art therapy interventions to meet the unique mental health needs of the diverse cultures of families in the metropolitan area, the broader border area, and surrounding tribal communities. For the past 5 years Chuck has continued developing his practice in central Minnesota, including in-home therapy via Nystrom’s Professional Family Based Division team and currently as outpatient therapist at Nystrom’s Sartell office.
Areas of clinical interest include: grief / loss processing, anxiety coping, and existential psychology.
Chuck sees adults of all ages, families, and children over the age of 7.
Clinical Approach:
Chuck provides creative, person-centered interventions – both art and verbal – to help build insights and guide clients towards more effective coping skills, communication strategies, and interpersonal effectiveness to more effectively navigate difficult life circumstances and conflicts.
Hobbies:
Chuck enjoys traveling the country, reading, live theatre, and watching / playing sports in his free time.
