Clinical Interests:
I work with teens and adults to help them through anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, and more. I have experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community.
I offer telehealth only at the Woodbury location.
Clinical Approach:
I prefer to approach my work from a person-centered perspective, as an equal partner with my client in therapy. I remain nonjudgmental, empathetic, and may even throw in some humor when it is appropriate. I also incorporate other approaches when I feel it would be beneficial to do so. These approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoanalytic theory, strengths-based, and more.
Hobbies:
I enjoy a variety of crafty hobbies, such as painting, crochet, embroidery, and whatever else I decide to try. I also enjoy gardening, reading, hiking, and cuddling up for a movie with my two cats.
