More About Eleanor Sonnabend

Clinical Interests:

My areas of interest include trauma, emotional disturbances, learning disabilities, sexual abuse/assault, relationship issues, and life transitions. I enjoy working with children, teens, and young adults to explore their therapeutic needs.

Clinical Approach:

My clinical approach is designed to be appropriate for the individual that I am working with. I believe that every individual has a different and unique set of skills that can help them to heal. As a provider I can help you to identify your therapeutic goals and offer tools to reach them. I am passionate about narrative, cognitive, trauma focused, and strengths based therapies. I strive to maintain trauma informed practices and cultural humility. I incorporate mindfulness practices to help individuals become more intend with their minds and bodies.

Hobbies:

I enjoy hiking and camping on the North Shore during the summer. When the weather is not so nice I am cooking, crafting, or reading.
