Clinical Interests:
Ellie enjoys working with adults. She has a special passion for working with first responders and other individuals who serve the community. Ellie has previously worked alongside police officers, teachers, nurses, and other first responders. This has contributed to her desire to give back in this setting.
Clinical Approach:
Ellie believes that building the therapeutic relationship through the use of humor, sharing stories, and creating goals together is an important step in working towards meeting the client’s needs. She gravitates towards strength-based techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and the integration of wellness practices to support treatment outcomes. Ellie also has training in drug and alcohol counseling.
Hobbies:
Ellie enjoys walks with her dogs, hiking, camping, fishing, and weight lifting. Other interests include DIY projects, health/wellness improvement, and mystery/adventure books. She has been sky diving, zip lining, and hopes to go paragliding some day!
