Clinical Interests:
Anxiety, depression, grief and loss, aging, life transitions and managing emotions. I have over ten years of experience working with adults and families in affordable housing and healthcare, as well as experience with low income, disabled and displaced adults. I have significant experience working with adults with dementia and assisting the geriatric population and their caregivers through the aging process. I also have experience with and enjoy working with teens.
Clinical Approach:
I believe in the dignity of each person and treating others with kindness and compassion. I collaborate with clients and believe that every client is the expert on themselves and their needs. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques to meet, support and guide the person where they’re at in the moment.
Hobbies:
I enjoy being outside, attending musicals & plays, live music on a patio, cheering on the Hawkeyes, reading, jigsaw puzzles, and traveling.
