More About Hannah Johnson
Clinical Interests:
I work with individuals of all ages, starting from age 12 and going into older adulthood. I have experience in working with individuals dealing with an array of mental health difficulties such as, but not limited to: trauma, mood disorders, gender identity/sexuality, and personality disorders.
Clinical Approach:
I believe that clients are the experts on their own life and I work to provide a safe space while walking alongside them to help identify and process underlying causes for their struggles or pain. I mainly operate from a client-centered and strength-based approach to empower my clients on their unique journey through healing. The main techniques and interventions I use throughout the therapeutic process with my clients are cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
Hobbies:
My personal interests and hobbies consist of: spending time with my dogs, biking/working out, traveling, cooking, and hanging out with friends!
