Clinical Interests:
I've spent 6 years in various positions providing support to a wide range of unique individuals living with differing developmental and mental health diagnoses. In each of my roles I acted as an advocate and taught valuable interpersonal skills. I am patient, a good listener, and love the work I do. Whether it be family, friends, or clients, I have been a source of support for people throughout my life and plan on supporting people for many years to come.
Clinical Approach:
I believe in a person centered approach to every situation. First and foremost I believe every individual is unique in their talents and challenges. Rather than focusing on what I think works best, I strive to develop a routine and pace that works best for each individual. Time and time again I have seen that if we work together, one step at a time, we can all reach milestones we never thought possible.

My name is Jared J Downs but everyone calls me JJ. I love music, art, reading, writing, the Minnesota Vikings, and Batman. I'm a free spirit at heart who believes you're never too old to have fun.
