Clinical Interests:
I have interest in helping children and adolescents improve their mental health and helping them understand what it is. My certifications include FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner) since 2011 and PMHNP (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) since 2019, though I have been in the nursing field for many years prior to that as a Registered Nurse.
Clinical Approach:
My clinical approach is to improve patient outcomes by open communication, educating, and involving the patient in decision making. It's important to me for my patients to know their options, as well as understand any medications they take.
Hobbies:
I love spending time with my family. In the summer we enjoy being in the water such as swimming or boating, In the winter we enjoy going to hockey games.
