Some of these mental health concerns have included depression, anxiety and mood disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder, trauma, history of abuse, comorbidity, significant life transitions, grief / loss and family issues.
I focus on meeting clients where they are at using a clinical approach that is eclectic drawing from a variety of evidence based therapeutic methods. These methods include but are not limited to: Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills such as mindfulness skills, motivational interviewing, Psychoeducation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, and Emotion Focused Therapy. I believe in Focusing on individual’s strengths by using commitment and energy to creatively inspire, encourage and empower them to utilize their skills and understand the impact of their social environment.
