More About Jennifer Mueller

Clinical Interests:

I believe that each person’s story is unique. I specialize in working with people who are dealing with a variety of concerns that are disrupting their life including anxiety, depression, grief, adjustment, abuse/trauma, and relationship concerns. I provide psychological evaluations and therapeutic counseling for people dealing with infertility and/or the use of advanced reproductive medicine. I am a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health and work with people in the LGBTQIA+ community on issues related to sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender dysphoria. I have specialized experiences working with people before and after bariatric surgery. I also provide psychological assessments as way to further understand underlying mental health conditions and appropriate treatment recommendations.

Clinical Approach:

My approaches are flexible, affirmative, creative, and collaborative. When you come to see me, you can expect a safe, supportive space to share your story as you work to explore issues from the past, build confidence, express emotions, address problems, and to learn new skills. I integrate therapeutic modalities holistically based on a person’s needs while I encourage intra- and interpersonal growth.

Hobbies:

I am a Midwest woman who strongly dislikes the cold. I’m quite content under a blanket with my cats beside me reading a book or playing games with my family. I enjoy cooking, baking, and sharing the goods with others.
