More About Jesse Johnson
I primarily work with individual adults ages 20 and up. My goal is to support an environment that helps people feel free to be themselves, exactly where they're at in life. I have found my gifts to be most serving to individuals who know life with depression, anxiety, panic, dissociation, PTSD and trauma, guilt/shame, spiritual issues, abuse, grief/loss, and/or self-esteem issues. I believe the body has been created with everything it needs to heal itself, and if we can connect to resources that work for you, the body knows what to do.
A variety of approaches are used in my practice, as it is very eclectic in nature. However, EMDR Therapy is what I practice most often. I also enjoy the integration of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-Focused, Motivational interviewing, Ego-state therapy informed, and Brain spotting based interventions. For individuals who appreciate the integration of Christian perspectives, I find great joy with keeping Christian spirituality alive in the experience toward healing.
Connecting with my Wife and Daughter, skateboarding, snowboarding, reading, time with friends and extended family, traveling, camping, physical exercise, and time with God help me experience my own life with balance and peace.
