More About Jessica Parks
Clinical Interests:
My clinical interests are helping individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, relationship issues, burnout, identity issues, self harm, eating disorders, adjustment issues, and trauma. I utilize an integrative approach with a blend of modalities such as DBT, CBT, Narrative, Systemic, IFS, Solution-Focused and attachment theory.
Clinical Approach:
I operate from the belief that every person has the power to author their own story. I choose to explore and collaborate alongside my clients to support them in building a life that is meaningful to them. I am committed to building resilience, interpersonal effectiveness, emotional regulation and other adaptive strategies that align with their unique needs and situations in a supportive atmosphere. I enjoy incorporating creative, sandtray or christian based approaches when requested or appropriate.
Hobbies:
I love going for hikes and biking with my husband. We have four cats that I adore. I spend my free time painting, listening to mystery novels on audible while building my garden or doing DIY projects. I love being near the water either on a walk or in a boat. Rainy days with a strong cup of coffee and a good show I can binge are my favorite ways to treat myself. I am also mildly obsessed with Lord of the Rings and Nintendo games.
