More About Josi Carter
Clinical Interests:
Ever since I was young I knew I wanted to help others, but it wasn’t until I started my sobriety journey in 2015 that I realized I wanted to help those battling addiction. Over the years I have learned how important addressing mental health can be and have advocated for mental health services to be set up for clients to help them be successful in their journey. Within the next year or two I would like to continue my education so that I am able work with clients that have co-occurring diagnoses of mental health and addiction.
Hobbies:
One of my favorite, and most expensive, hobbies has been running. I have done quite a few 5K and 10K races in Kansas and have completed two half-marathons. An injury about a year ago has kept me from running, but I hope to get back to it soon!
I am relocating to Minnesota from Kansas and am excited to be working/living near the Twin Cities. I enjoy experiencing different foods and events and am always up to trying anything at least once and am very excited to introduce my little one to new experiences as well!
