I enjoy walking and taking time to appreciate the sights and sounds around me. I enjoy growing flowers and plan to develop a perennial garden of prairie plants and flowers. I have always loved to travel and fortunate to have already seen a number of countries. My "yet to visit list" includes Ireland, Nova Scotia, and a return trip to Paris France. My favorite room of the house is the kitchen where I find cooking my relaxation. My favorite time to cook is during the holidays when the cookies and treats baked are shared with friends and family. I also enjoy connecting to my family and culture by collecting special recipes, cookbooks, and traditions of the past. My time and activities at home are shared with my partner Steve, our two yellow labs, and a Siamese cat.
