More About Kayla Ritzer
Clinical Interests:
I am passionate about utilizing a variety of evidence-based approaches to support clients in their healing and growth. My clinical interests include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also offer Christian counseling for those who wish to incorporate their faith into the therapeutic process, and I am committed to multicultural counseling that honors and respects the diverse backgrounds and identities of each individual.
Clinical Approach:
My approach to therapy is warm, supportive, and centered around your unique story and goals. I believe in meeting people where they’re at and working together to create a space that feels safe, respectful, and empowering. I draw from approaches like CBT, DBT, ACT, and Person-Centered Therapy to help people build awareness, learn practical tools, and navigate life’s challenges. I’m also open to incorporating faith-based perspectives for those who find that meaningful, and I bring a multicultural lens to my work, honoring each person’s background, identity, and lived experience.
Hobbies:
In my free time, I enjoy soaking up the sun outside, taking care of my plants, going to the gym, and unwinding with long walks. I love curling up with a good book and a cup of coffee, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, and ending the day with feel-good, funny shows that make me laugh.
