More About Kaylie Willprecht

Clinical Interests:

My clinical interests include working with individuals between the ages of 6-49, struggling with trauma disorders, depression, anxiety, obsessive disorders, eating disorders, and learning disorders. I am interested in working with these clients because of my unique background experience involving the military, psychiatric settings, and working within the school districts as a school counselor.

Clinical Approach:

My clinical approach is based on cognitive-behavioral therapy and interpersonal therapy. This includes specific interventions such as restructuring, mindfulness techniques, the ABC model, and behavior rehearsal. I understand that one counseling technique does not fit all, and I am willing to work with the client to identify what is most beneficial to their treatment.

Hobbies:

Spending time with my family is one of my favorite things to do. I also enjoy running with my dog while listening to podcasts. I spend lots of time painting, drawing, gardening, and studying new concepts.
