More About Kelley Hallingstad

Clinical Interests:

I enjoy working with people going through major life transitions and challenges, and helping them learn how to navigate these changes with increased healthier coping skills. Some of the skills I utilize are strengths-based clinical work, positive psychology techniques, meditation and overall wellness for body, mind and spirit to achieve a full spectrum health and happiness. In my work, I also hold a fondness for helping families gain greater depth of healthy communication and interaction with one another.

Clinical Approach:

I view my role with a client as one of a collaborator, providing solution- focused discussion and viewpoints for them to consider. I am a very straightforward communicator, and my passion for what I do shows through in the style of motivation I am able to awaken in people.

I am humbled to be a small part in someone choosing to evolve and improve their quality of life. I am a clinician that works with diversity, equity and individuality as a primary focus for all who choose to seek help.

Hobbies:

I am an avid nature and animal lover, so I spend a lot of time with my family in activities that take me outside, and spending time with our Great Dane Jupiter and activities with horses. I embrace living life full of adventure, so cross-country camping adventures, motorcycles, and spontaneous road trips are common.

My love for animals also takes me to volunteering with equine therapy, therapy dog work, and learning about holistic health practices from history through modern-day practices.
