Clinical Interests:

I am a licensed independent clinical social worker. I received my undergraduate degree in social work from St. Cloud State University and my master's degree in clinical social work from the University of Southern California. I believe in a person-centered approach to therapy and believe that people thrive when feeling connected and heard. I have special clinical interests in treating depression, anxiety, panic, and trauma.

Clinical Approach:

I strive to make a warm, inviting, and safe space for my clients to explore and process their experiences and to realize the strengths they already possess. I enjoy encouraging my clients to challenge themselves and I am there to support them in whatever way that I can. I aspire to honor my clients' life experiences to develop a strength-based plan for healing. I aim to support my clients to feel empowered to make the changes they want. I assess individual, relational, and societal dynamics that are impacting the client to set individualized goals for therapy.

Hobbies:

I like to read, flower garden, work on a dairy farm, fish, hike, camp, play softball and spend time with my three children.
