More About Kristin Hartung

Clinical Interests:

I am passionate about helping couples form loving relationships by enhancing communication, connection, intimacy, and conflict resolution skills. I have completed level 1 and 2 in Gottman Trainings and use that as the foundational framework for guiding sessions together. I also work with individuals experiencing a wide variety of issues including those who need help managing conflict within their relationships, creating work-life balance, processing previous traumatic experiences, and navigating major life changes.

Clinical Approach:

I take a person-centered and collaborative approach to promote healing and empowerment. While people may experience similar general life problems, no individual or couple is quite the same. Therefore, every session may look different and is tailored to meet your needs and achieve your personal goals. When working with me, you can expect a warm, empathetic, and compassionate presence. No matter what problem you may be experiencing at the moment, I strive to create a safe and healing place to work through life’s adversities together and create positive change in your life.

Hobbies:

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time going on walks with my two dogs, playing sand and indoor volleyball, trying out new restaurants, reading, spending time outdoors, as well as creating lasting memories with family and friends.
