More About Kristin Sweetman
Clinical Interests:
I am passionate about helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion, curiosity, and hope. I have experience working with children, families, and adults, and I welcome clients managing ADHD, anxiety, and depression. My approach is grounded in narrative therapy, which means I believe that the stories we tell ourselves shape our lives—and that everyone has the ability to rewrite those stories and create meaningful change. I strive to create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered in their journey toward healing and growth. I specialize in working with family systems, couples, and individuals. I see ages 7+.
Clinical Approach:
I take a strength-based approach where I believe that everyone has strengths and the ability to create positive change in their lives. I’ll team up with you to help identify your strengths and emotions, help you name the stories that keep you stuck, and work with you to reauthor your next chapter.
Hobbies:
Traveling (I’ve been to all 50 states), spending time outside in nature, exercising, nutrition, running, cooking/baking, live music, and spending time with people I love.
