More About Lindsey Boerger
Clinical Interests:
I started my career working in a medium intensity men’s inpatient program. I then transitioned over and began working with the women’s inpatient program as well. After leaving there, I moved into an outpatient program and began working with men and women of all ages and backgrounds. I am open to working with any individuals and have experience working with LGBTQA+ community.
Clinical Approach:
My clinical approach is primarily person centered. As an LADC I understand that every person has their own story and goes through their addiction and recovery in different ways. I try my best to understand and meet the needs of each client under my care. I also like to incorporate stress management, motivational interviewing, self-care, harm reduction, and art therapy.
Hobbies:
My main interest in life is traveling! I try to take one major trip a year to see different parts of the country and other foreign countries as well. I have a goal to visit all 50 states with my friends. When I am not traveling by plane, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am a proud auntie to my one nephew and my fur baby Zeke! To help maintain my self-care you can catch me listening to music, getting my nails done, and enjoying our short period of warm weather.
