More About Lindsey Schue
Clinical Interests:
I specialize in working with adults struggling with substance use disorders. I am passionate about supporting clients through their recovery journeys by addressing both addiction and the underlying emotional, behavioral, and relational factors contributing to substance use.
Clinical Approach:
My clinical approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Adlerian theory, and a strong commitment to client-centered care. I meet each client where they are in their journey, honoring their unique experiences, strengths, and challenges. My work emphasizes empowering individuals to recognize and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, build resilience, and cultivate meaningful goals aligned with their values. I focus on fostering a sense of belonging, purpose, and self-efficacy, helping clients address both substance use and the underlying emotional, social, and lifestyle factors that contribute to it. I also integrate a holistic healing approach, recognizing that recovery is a whole-person process involving the mind, body, and spirit. Whether through developing healthier coping skills, strengthening social connections, or making referrals for clients to address trauma, I tailor my support to each individual’s needs, maintaining a compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based perspective.
Hobbies:
I enjoy staying active through regular workouts and spending time outdoors in nature. I value quality time with my family and friends and love traveling to experience new places and cultures.
