Clinical Approach:
As a Licensed K-12 School Counselor and now as a Pre-Licensed Therapist, my clinical approach includes working with my clients from a person-centered lens and providing a safe listening space and environment. Additionally, it is important to listen to the lived narrative experiences that clients go through. As I get to know and increase my awareness about client needs, that will determine more in terms of my clinical approach, which can include person-centered, cognitive behavior, solution focused, trauma-informed and family systems strategies, I will also integrate aspects of different therapeutic models depending on the client need.
