More About Liz Lembke

Clinical Interests:

I have previously worked with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Currently, I am enjoying working with a variety of life stressors/events/challenges. I work closely with major depressive disorder (MDD), generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), adjustment disorder, and bipolar disorder. I have worked with a variety of demographics (i.e. age, race, culture, religion) I mostly see adults individually but also see couples.

Clinical Approach:

My approach to therapy is eclectic. I pull from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-focused Therapy. I believe that a strong client-clinician relationship is essential to the outcome of therapy. I believe in creating a safe, compassionate, and authentic space for the client.

Hobbies:

I enjoy spending time with my friends and partner. Some of my hobbies include soccer, hockey, board/card games, video games, watercolor, and singing in the car. Also, I love movies. “The Princess Bride” and “Clue” would definitely be in my top 5 favorite movies.
