Clinical Interests:

In the past, I have had a more hands on role in mental health by going out into the community and meeting with clients. I am currently enjoying working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a wide variety of concerns that have come up in one’s life. Some of the more common diagnoses I have worked with include: major depressive disorder (MDD), generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Adjustment Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). I work with a variety of demographics (i.e. age, race, gender, religion) but have found interest in improving client’s connection to others and confidence in themselves.

Clinical Approach:

I strongly value meeting each person where they are at and working within their world view. I utilize narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing in my approach to assist clients in reaching their goals. I believe that there is power and strength in vulnerability that helps guide the therapeutic process. I incorporate the client’s values, motivations, and believes into practice. Developing a strong therapeutic relationship between client and provider can help client’s reach the best version of themselves. My goal in therapy is to work with clients to better understand where they are now and where they would like their future selves to be.

Hobbies:

I enjoy spending my time playing guitar and singing. I also love being outside hiking, biking, or playing pickleball.
