Clinical Interests:
As a therapist I enjoy and appreciate working with diverse individuals facing a variety of difficulties.
My interests include working with clients facing abuse, cultural Issues, bipolar, borderline personality disorder, depression, divorce, domestic violence, life transitions, immigration stress and acculturations issues, panic disorder, self- esteem, self – harm, social -anxiety, PTSD and trauma, and suicidal thoughts. I work primarily with individuals 15 years old and older.
Clinical Approach:
I consider unconditional positive regard the most important element in the creation of a strong therapeutic rapport – the factor that affects treatment success the most. In sessions I use a variety of clinical approaches including CBT, DBT, Person Centered, and Strength-Based approach to meet the individual needs of my clients. I consider clients the experts in their life and experiences. My goal is to walk alongside them to help process their emotions in a healthy and holistic way. I am an LGBTQ+ ally.
Hobbies:
My personal interests include reading, drawing, cooking, traveling, and spending time by the sea. What I enjoy the most is spending quality time with my husband and adult children.
