Clinical Interests:
I have a clinical interest in working with Depression, Anxiety, Grief/Loss, LGBTQIA+ community, Mood disorders, Personality Disorders, and PTSD. I work with children, adolescents and adults.
Clinical Approach:
I see things from a relational perspective and feel that our relationships can affect every aspect in our lives. I utilize person-center care. I want to meet my clients where they are at, no matter where that is. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused and strength-based psychotherapy techniques. Culturally-based practices and trauma-informed care are incorporated. Children specific art-based therapy techniques, narrative therapy techniques, play therapy techniques, sand tray therapy techniques. I have completed formal training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Hobbies:
Soccer, snowboarding and gardening are my jam. I enjoy traveling and find peace being outdoors.
