More About Meghan Osterbauer

Clinical Interests:

My particular clinical interests include trauma, survivors of domestic violence, survivors of sexual violence, depression, anxiety, couple's therapy, family therapy, and LGBTQ+ issues.

Clinical Approach:

My clinical approach is very collaborative. While I have expertise in mental health and therapeutic approaches, I believe all clients are unique and are the experts in their own lives. Because of this, I rely on their feedback to determine what type of interventions are helpful and unhelpful to them. I utilize experiential, emotion-focused, trauma-informed approaches to support clients through their struggles and triumphs. Much of my focus is often on the here-and-now experiencing of emotions related to events in my clients' lives. I also strive to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to meet my clients where they are at.

Hobbies:

My hobbies include biking, reading, ballroom dancing, video games, Dungeons and Dragons, rollerblading, and hiking.
