More About Melanie Waller
Clinical Interests:
I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families from all different backgrounds. I am passionate about working with adults and families with issues related to adoption, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship dynamics, coping skills, life transitions, and family conflict. If faith and spirituality are part of your story, we can incorporate that into our work together.
Clinical Approach:
Because everyone has their own story, my approach varies depending on the client I am working with. My primary practice includes strengths-based perspective, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing techniques and a Family Systems approach. My goal is to use a combination of these approaches based on your unique situation. Overall I want my clients to find hope, healing and be empowered for change.
Hobbies:
I love making and enjoying good coffee, reading, exercising, trying new recipes, listening to podcasts, and spending time with my husband, family and friends!
