More About Morgan Sanbeck
Clinical Interests:
I have been working with children and their families, and I am interested in working with teenagers and young adults as well. I have experience working with clients struggling with mental health and emotion regulation. I will work with clients that have a range of presenting concerns and diagnoses. In the past I have worked with anxiety disorders, depression, stress related disorders, emotion regulation, trauma, and other areas.
Clinical Approach:
My goal as a clinician is to create an environment you can settle into and we can work collaboratively to provide you with the support you need. When working with children and their families I love to use the language of children, play. I have worked with directive and non-directive play techniques and I have a great passion for meeting children where they are at. Every individual and family has their own challanges to overcome, and I wish to support you through that journey by using emotional regulation techniques, psychoeducation, play-based techniques, theraplay, and a person-centered approach. Therapy does not look the same for everyone, so let’s work together to find what approach fits for your needs.
Hobbies:
If I am not stuck with my nose in a book I can be found spending time with my family, playing with my two dogs, and spending time in fresh air. I love a good craft and have recently rekindled my love for puzzles and needle-work. I have many hilarous tales to tell of my dogs and would love to hear about you animal’s adventures as well.
