Clinical Interests:

I work with adults experiencing the effects of anxiety, trauma, shame, depression, body image, stress management, life transitions, women’s issues, self-esteem, bipolar, relationship issues, and personal growth. I am particularly interested working with First Responders to start and foster positive conversations around mental health as it relates to their profession.

Clinical Approach:

I believe that every person should have the opportunity to become the healthiest and happiest versions of themselves, I strive to achieve this with my clients by meeting them where they are at in life and helping them navigate and understand their reactions and emotions to past and present events. I practice out of a Person-Centered Approach, utilizing motivational interviewing, and pulling from Family Systems approach and Narrative Therapy. I also have begun incorporating and further developing my understanding and use of Internal Family Systems.

Hobbies:

I enjoy spending time outdoors in all seasons. Boating and kayaking in the summer on and around the Mississippi River, and snowboarding in the winter. I also love to crochet, read and bake or cook for family and friends!
