Clinical Interests:
Working with ages between 8 and older are interests of mine. More specifically those suffering with emotional dysregulation, suicidal ideation or self harming behaviors, personality disorders, depression, anxiety, and ASD. I'm an outpatient and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), therapist continually willing to learn and grow as a provider.
Clinical Approach:
Applying interventions to increase interpersonal and communication skills, coping skills, problem solving, boundary setting are just some of the clinical approaches. I feel developing a relationship with clients is key, in order to make any progress. I tend to apply my learnings of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and other evidence based interventions within therapy sessions.
Hobbies:
I enjoy spending time outside with my dog, family and friends. Reading is a hobby that I use to unwind as well as making crafts or DIY's.
