More About Rebecca Collier
Clinical Interests:
I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults within the scope of individual, group, and family therapy. I am gender-affirming and sexuality-affirming. I have experience in educating others about gender, sexuality, and sexual health. I strive to provide a warm and safe environment to help individuals work through different challenges, and to create hope and positive changes in their lives.
Clinical Approach:
My goal as a therapist is to help clients explore old problems, relationships, or dynamics in new ways. I prefer a collaborative approach between myself and clients. The client is the expert in their life, and my role is to provide new tools and resources. My theoretical approaches include Psychodynamic, Structural, Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Dialectical Behavioral therapy.
Hobbies:
I love exploring a variety of creative hobbies! My current favorite pursuit is crochet, which I do casually and professionally. I love to make stuffed animals and blankets! I also love to sketch, paint, and embroider.
