Clinical Interests:
Rodney received his Bachelor's degrees in both Psychology and History from Coe College and his Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa. He enjoys working with clients who are experiencing a range of issues such as depression, anxiety, interpersonal issues, substance abuse, and life transitions. He aims to create a safe, warm, and nurturing environment to help you to break blockages in your personal growth and development.
Clinical Approach:
Rodney utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to identify how your thoughts and behaviors may be contributing to your presenting issues. This method also works to validate your concerns and help you figure out how to best address your problems. He is a firm believer that without empathy there is no good therapy.
Hobbies:
In his free time, Rodney enjoys exercising, video games, watching his favorite shows, and hanging out with friends. He also enjoys learning new things by reading, watching documentaries, and trying out new activities.
