Clinical Interests:
My clinical interests include working with adolescents, couples and families. I have experience working with different mental health diagnoses, but I am particularly interested in major depressive disorder (MDD), generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and some who have post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I am also interested in those who are challenged with eating disorders and self-esteem concerns. I work with individuals of all backgrounds (i.e., race, religion, sexual identity, etc.).
Clinical Approach:
I utilize different therapeutic approaches when working with clients, such as cognitive behavioral therapy. motivational interviewing, and a person-centered approach and different mindfulness techniques. I believe the client is the expert of their lives and as a therapist I'm here to validate them as they continue to process their mental health concerns.
Hobbies:
I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, reading a good book, exploring my surroundings and traveling the world whenever I can. I love meeting new people and having the opportunity to learn about other cultures. Also, I enjoy shopping and finding great deals.
